Drs. Ralf Vandam
Ralf Vandam received his bachelor and master degree in Archaeology at the K.U.Leuven (2005-2009). He wrote his MA thesis on the Sr-isotope analysis of tooth material from excavations at Sagalassos in Turkey where he assisted Ine Jacobs on the Collonaded Street and Apollo Klarios in 2006 and 2007. In 2008 and 2009, he excavated in the Minoan site of Sissi (UCL-KUL) in Crete. Currently he is preparing a Ph.D on the “Continuity and Change between the Neolithic and Early Bronze Age”: a comparison of the production, circulation and consumption of pottery in the Sagalassos area, which will finally result in a deeper understanding of the early settlements from this region.
